Hartville Plans Second Annual Art in the Park Event in June!
Entire Community to Celebrate the Arts and Commemorate Groundbreaking for Heritage Gateway Project
Hartville, Ohio, May 7, 2025 — Historic Downtown Hartville will come alive with creativity during its second annual Art in the Park, an event that highlights local artists, artisans, musical performers, and culinary offerings.
The event is open to the public and is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10 am to 3 pm. Art in the Park is a celebration of arts and culture that promises an unforgettable day for the community. Last year those who attended throughout the day participated in demonstrations and hands-on activities, and enjoyed delicious food and drinks, and live performances by local talent.
As part of the day, a groundbreaking ceremony will be held for the Historic Downtown Gateway, a vibrant new public space featuring a stunning steel pavilion with an iconic piece of public art at its heart. “This isn’t just a park — it’s the future front door to our historic downtown!” stated Gateway project manager, Michelle Cutler.
The groundbreaking ceremony will occur at 1:00 p.m at Workman’s Point, adjacent to Workman’s Auto and the Hartville Elevator. To support this community initiative, the public is invited to celebrate the creativity that makes the Hartville community so unique and is encouraged to purchase commemorative pavers at
