LAKE TOWNSHIP, OH – September 15, 2025 – The Lake Township Chamber of Commerce will host three separate local candidate forums this October, giving residents the opportunity to hear directly from those seeking public office in Hartville and Lake Township.
All candidates have been invited to attend and participate. The forums will be moderated by Chip Weisel, president of the Lake Chamber. Questions for the candidates will be prepared and sent to participants in advance to ensure a focused and informative discussion. All candidates will be given equal time to respond, fostering a fair and balanced platform for voters to hear directly from those running for office.

Lake Township Trustee Candidate Forum

• Wednesday, October 15, 2025 – 6:30 PM
Lake Local School Board Candidate Forum

“These candidate forums are an important opportunity for residents to become informed about the issues and the people who want to represent them,” said Chip Weisel, Chamber president and forum moderator. “The Chamber is committed to fostering civic engagement and ensuring our community has access to open, respectful dialogue.”
All forums are free and open to the public. Residents are encouraged to attend. The forums will also be live-streamed and recorded by Lake/Middle High School Career Tech students.
