To edit the text in the left column, highlight and select the text and either type or paste in from a plain text editor. Do not paste from Word or a rich text editor as the formatting may be inserted. To insert a link in the right hand column, click in an empty space and use the Link Builder tool accessed from the editor toolbar. Links will automatically format. To change or replace the image, right click and select replace image from the context menu. To insert a caption in the right column, click in an empty space beneath a photo, and type your caption. You can use the text editing tools above to alter the text size and weight if necessary

About Us

Formed in 1988, the Lake Chamber exists for two reasons. One is to support our members by providing them access to opportunities that will help them make new connections that lead to the growth of their business. We provide important business information and resources, marketing opportunities and educational workshops to support member businesses.

The other reason the Chamber exists is to proactively work to ensure our area is moving forward, prosperous and a place that people want to live and do business. A thriving and growing area means there are people with good paying jobs that buy homes, cars, take out loans, eat at restaurants and shop in stores – ultimately, people looking for the products and services offered by businesses in our community. As a result, what we do is not only important but essential to the growth and stability of the Lake Township area.

An Advocate
The Chamber is Lake Township’s only business organization working for businesses. In serving the business community, the Chamber is devoted to activities designed to advance economic growth. We strive to help existing businesses grow and expand, and attract new businesses to our community.

Another Voice
Through the Chamber you can voice your views on legislation, taxes, civic affairs, employment, trade, transportation and other important matters.

Another Front Office
The Chamber is the place where visitors gain their first impression of the hospitality and soundness of our community. This office reflects the energetic outlook of our civic leaders in the business community. It is the rallying point for community development.

Added Credibility
Many people use their local Chamber as an authority to find products and services. Being a member of the Chamber adds credibility to your business.

A Resource

The Chamber staff answers hundreds of inquiries a year relative to every imaginable question concerning the Lake Township and area. The inquiries would go unanswered if there were no Chamber of Commerce. The goodwill and accurate information furnished has an incalculable value to Lake Township.

A Salesperson
The Chamber provides a clearinghouse of information needed by prospective industrialists, visitors, potential residents and businesses who are interested in learning more about the area.
