Hartville, Ohio —The Lake Township Chamber of Commerce announces that it is collaborating with GentleBrook and OhioMeansJobs to host a Job Fair on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 11 am to 2 pm. The three-hour event will be held at the GentleBrook SportsPlex, 880 Sunnyside St. SW, in Hartville.
This is an in-person job event. Job seekers are not required to register to participate. The job fair will feature local employers from among the Chamber’s membership and non-member companies as well. All ages and levels of experience are welcome!
“We held our first job fair last April. It was highly attended and resulted in many great connections so we anticipate another successful event this year,” stated Chip Weisel, President of the Lake Township Chamber.
"We are excited to partner with the Lake Township Chamber of Commerce and Ohio Means Jobs again to host the job fair in our SportsPlex. That space was created to connect people with community and the job fair is such an excellent event for that connection to happen between local employers and job seekers," commented Francie Kell, Director of Marketing & Communications for co-sponsor GentleBrook.
As of the date of this publishing, there are 16 participating employers, with the list expected to expand in the next few weeks. Available positions include customer service, marketing, accounting, education, healthcare, retail, food service, and recreation. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone seeking employment to connect with employers and identify opportunities within the community.
