The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Dr. Chip Weisel will be assuming the role of Interim President for the Lake Township Chamber of Commerce. The board is continuing to conduct a thorough search and anticipates naming a new chamber President later this year.
Chip is a lifelong resident of Lake Township, a longtime member of the chamber and has been the driving force behind Morning Connections Networking for several years. Chamber and community members alike know him as the MC of the Annual Awards Dinner, in addition to being a well-respected business owner in Hartville for over 30 years. Chip possesses a clear understanding of our mission to promote the success and growth of business in Lake Township. He holds the position of board secretary for the Hartville–Lake Community Development Association and has the best interests of the business community in mind as he assumes this new role with the chamber.

The chamber plans to hire a new part-time administrative assistant for the office. A job description for this position will be published within the next week.
